(Entertainment) Kefee buries at 34 @tj_shetade

Singer Kefee has finally been buried in Sapele Delta State few hour ago.

Kefee who died last month in the United States after 15 days in coma has been buried amidst tears after a short service which was attended by her husband and family members. Fujiipop Magazine eyewitnesses said her siblings were practically inconsolable when she was about to be buried. So heartbreaking. She died at the of 34.

Dublin based Nigerian singer,Angel Tina Ekpuma, popularly known as ANGEL TEE has dropped the video of her hit single,’SHOULD I?’
The video which was shot in lagos is expected to hit the airwaves this week.
The singer,songwriter,model and video viva who hails from Umuoji in Idemili LGA of Anambra state is about the most busy of all African singers in Europe, haven toured virtually all European countries with her artistic works.
The Anambra born diva who has for sometime now become the Irish most popular singer and celebrity was spoted in lagos recently with her manager at a popular studio in surulere.
Speaking to reporters in lagos,the LINEAR MINDS ENTERTAINMENT owner said in a popular Nigerian pidgin English to the admiration of all around,” Naija na my papa land nah! abi una no wan mek I return again? I ve always wanted to contribute to the developement of the Nigerian music industry and that is why I decided to come home to help move the industry to the next level.Honestly, I am really pleased with what I met on ground here,if you consider where we were before you will appreciate the improvement in the Nigerian music in particular and the entertainment industry in general.Agreed,there are still hitches here and there,but its okay because that is why some of us who has gone out there and have garnered some experience decided to bring back home that experience to help build the industry and byextention, our country to where we truly desire it to be.
Reminded that the music industry in Nigeria might not be easy for because of where she is coming back from,she said” my dear, I be Naija babe o,so there is nothing like European Naija or omo Naija here.Infact,I must say that I am very proud of the Nigerian female artists,they are really flying our (women) flags high.I’m proud of Tiwa Salvage,Omawumi and the rest.I look forward to working with all of them,I did not come back to compete with them,I came back to contribute in my own little way the same way Tiwa came back to contribute her own.The field is large enough for all of us,I personally look forward to meeting some of them,that is the ones I have not met already.If you ve listened to my songs,you would ve discovered that my music kind of sound a bit different from what others do.So,I’m not in competition with anyone but with myself.As you can see,we ve been recording some new songs to sooth what is on air here.Not that we have problem with our works,but as you know,the Nigerian enveroment is quite different from what is obtainable in europe, so decided to struck a balance and I believe with the effort I and my crew members have put in so far, we will come out with something our people will really appreciate.

…Four finalists fight for N1m

Four finalists have emerged for the grand finale of Naija Street Champ as Celestine Ogar (Big Daddy Africa) was evicted from the competition. The quest to bag the million naira prize for the winner of the music talent competition continues as the last standing 4 contestants prepares for the concluding concert performance.

Celestine Ogar, (Big Daddy Africa) who was one of the 3 contestants that qualified from the Festac Audition of the competition. Big Daddy Africa earned his spot in the top 5 position as a result of his unique RnB style of music but was edged out in the competition as he emerged the finalist with the least votes during the final voting round.

Announcing the result of the final voting round, the Project Manager Oladehinde Fajana revealed that Sholz had the highest votes with 5.69% online votes and 30.3% SMS votes total 35.99%, followed by Raptitude with 0.42% online votes and 23.27% SMS votes total 23.69%, Rodney came third with 2.92% online votes and 17.00% SMS votes total 19.92% followed by Dabreez who had 0.22% online votes and 13.55% SMS votes total 13.77%, Big Daddy had the least votes with 0.75% online votes and 5.88% SMS total 6.63%.

Fajana explained that the votes were a combination of the online and SMS votes. 10% of the online votes were used with 90% of the SMS votes to make a total of 100%. “The votes emerged from both the SMS and Online platforms giving every contestant a wide opportunity to qualify for the final stage.

After the eviction of Big Daddy Africa, the top four finalists were unveiled. The Four finalists that will be competing for the one million naira prize and 3 years recording deal in the finale are Sulaimon Idris (Dabreez) representing Surulere zone, Shanuolu Adesola (Sholz) representing Ipaja Zone, Rodney Brown Edemhanria (Rodney) representing Ikeja zone and Abimbola Olugbenga (Raptitude) representing Bariga/Akoka zone.

Speaking on the progress of the competition Fajana expressed his gratitude to the media for their support throughout the competition, “We are highly grateful to our media partners and partner producers Terry G, D’tunes, and ID Cabasa for supporting us throughout this project, Naija Street Champ has indeed come to stay”

Fajana, also used the opportunity to disclose that the finale will be held at Blue Roof LTV Agidingbi Lagos on June 26, 2014 where the first ever Naija Street Champ will be crowned and presented with the 1 million naira prize and 3 years recording contract. He also stated that information on the finale will be disclosed in due course.
