Entertaiment: Real reasons Danny S wants to be a preacher

IMG_3989Rave of the moment, singer and performer, Danny S has revealed that his aim in life is to be a preacher.

He said music is not the final destination for his career. In a chat with Saturday Beats, the singer said that once he is done with his music career, he hopes to become a preacher. “If I quit music, I would love to be a preacher so I can spread the word of God to people. I might not have a church building but I would have a ministry which would preach the good word to people. If I become a preacher, I know it would be easy for people living on the street to listen to my word. Most of them do not know that taking Indian hemp or abusing illicit substances is a very bad thing but if I am able to let them see the health implication of what they are doing, I am sure they would change their ways. I sing music for the street but I make sure they are songs that motivate people,” he said.

He told Saturday Beats that although he sings for people on the ‘streets,’ he does not indulge in vices like smoking or drug abuse. “It might be hard for some people to believe but I do not smoke but I drink alcohol moderately. I have seen people who are addicted to smoking and different kinds of substance and they think it is good.  I see myself as a preacher and I try my best to tell these people to shun their bad habits. My music preaches to people; telling them to say no to drugs,” he said.

Taking a trip down memory lane, he said that his passion was shared between music and football but his father asked him to opt for the latter.

“My father advised me to quit football for music because he is not a big football fan but he loves music. My mother, on the other hand, has always been a big fan who always supports me. She has been supporting me since I started doing unique hairstyles. She is someone who encourages me to do well in any area of life I find myself. Even when our family members were against my hairstyle, my mother supported me. All she begs from me is not to join bad gang. I still play football every weekend when I have the time,” the singer said.

Why AC Milan suspended from Champions League and Europa League for the 2018-19 season

Image result for ac milanItalian giant, AC Milan have been banned by UEFA from competing in the Champions League and Europa League for the 2018-19 season after breaching Financial Fair Play rules.

UEFA announced the shocking decision on Tuesday, citing that AC Milan would not be able to play in any European competition for the 2018/19 campaign despite qualifying for the Europa League.

Recall that the Italian club spent more than £175million (€200m) on new players last year amid questions over the financial stability of the Chinese-led consortium that purchased the club from Silvio Berlusconi for £600m in April 2017.

But the club will have the right to appeal, but if unsuccessful they will serve the ban and would be eligible to enter again in 2019-20 if they qualify for either the Champions or Europa League.

Here is the statement by UEFA below.

“The Adjudicatory Chamber of the Club Financial Control Body (CFCB), chaired by Jose Narciso da Cunha Rodrigues, has taken a decision in the case of the club AC Milan that had been referred to it by the CFCB Chief Investigator for the breach of the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations, in particular the break-even requirement.

“The club is excluded from participating in the next UEFA club competition for which it would otherwise qualify in the next two (2) seasons (i.e. one competition in 2018/19 or 2019/20, subject to qualification).

“This decision may be appealed to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, in accordance with Article 34(2) of the Procedural rules governing the UEFA Club Financial Control Body, as well as Articles 62 and 63 of the UEFA Statutes.

“Atalanta will qualify straight to the group phase. Fiorentina will enter the preliminary round.”
