Social media influencers allegedly being offered N2m to defend COZA pastor, Biodun FatoyinboIt has been revealed that People claiming to be members of the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) have allegedly been reaching out to social media influencers to carry out a social media campaign in defence of their pastor.

According to The Cable, social media opinion influencers are being offered as much as N2 million to upload posts in defence of Fatoyinbo.

Biodun Fatoyinbo, the senior pastor of COZA  was accused of rape by Busola Dakolo, a celebrity photographer and wife of singer, Timi Dakolo.

It has been reported that Abike Dabiri, the Chairman of the Nigerian Diaspora Commission has charged women to ‘rise up and demand justice’ following Busola Dakolo’s bombshell interview about her sexual assault encounter with Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo of COZA.

According to Abike who is a former member of the Nigeria Federal House of Representatives, ‘we all, as women, must rise up and demand justice. I sponsored the violence against persons bill which prescribes life imprisonment for rape! Busola, you’ve got my back’.Image result for abike dabiri

Music Star, Oritsefemi lures Teni to SAPELE for Community Tour

The second edition of @Oritsefemi Community Tour has been planned to take place at SAPELE, Delta State.

One of the hottest female artistes currently, @tenientertainer will be dazzling on stage.

The event will take place 21st July 2019 at SAPELE Township stadium, Delta state.

Lots of artistes will be performing a long the musical Taliban, @fujiipoptv gathered.

Maiden edition of the concert was successful in Portharcourt weeks ago.

It was fun galore at the Handmaidens Women in Leadership Series Forum which was held at Eko Hotel & Suites Victoria Island  on June 25th, 2019.
The vision of the forum is to enlighten and empower women positively impact the society , as Dr Siju Iluyomade revealed at the event.
The Chief Convener of WiLS, Dr. (Mrs.) Siju Iluyomade, founding partner in the law firm Iluyomade & Co., brought the initiative to life from her mission of empowering women to fulfill their destinies in Christ.
This year’s edition with the theme, “Leading Women- Building Legacies”, had Dr. Olufunmilayo I. Olopade, a hematology oncologist and director of the University of Chicago Hospital’s Cancer Risk Clinic, as the keynote speaker alongside other distinguished panelists and speakers.
Also in attendance as special guest of honors are the Lagos State First Lady, Dr. Ibijoke Sanwo Olu; Ogun State First Lady,Mrs Bamidele Abiodun;Edo State First Lady, Mrs. Betsy Obaseki; Wife of the Speaker , House Representative , Mrs. Salamu Gbajabiamila.
Rear Admiral Itunu Hotonu (rtd) was also in attendance as she opened the program with a short prayer.
With a vision to building a network for women to leverage on and grooming up-and-coming ladies, the conference holds yearly and has never lacked for a massive audience. Comprising a wide range of personalities from media personalities to top bank executives, over 4,000 people were in attendance at this year event.
The convener in her opening speech, urged women to maximize their talent, strengths and skills to do what matters now as time waits for no one. She also said legacies are built when we monitor our impact on others. Furthermore, lasting legacies are built when poor or maleficent behaviors and attitudes that dilute impact are done away with.
Speaking as to the choice of Keynote Speaker and topic, Dr. Iluyomade who is a lawyer by profession, said, “Poor health is one of the obstacles standing against a woman’s career, particularly the ravaging disease called cancer. Taking care of our health enables us maximize our full potential in all we take on.”
 Also speaking on the evolution of the initiative, Dr. Iluyomade was thankful that an initiative that was birthed several years ago is still standing to see its 21st edition this year.
With focus on building lasting legacies, over 10 presentations were delivered by the accomplished panelists – Bolanle Austen Peters, Founder- Terra Kulture; TY Bello, accomplished photographer; Kofo Akinkugbe, founder and CEO- SecureID; Prof. Sade Ogunsola, Deputy Vice Chancellor- UNILAG; Prof. Enase Okonedo, Dean- Lagos Business School; Adesuwa Onyenokwe, Editor-in-Chief – Today’s Woman, Funke Bucknor-Obruthe- Founder and CEO- Zapphaire Events; Achenyo Idachaba-Obaro, Award winning Entrepreneur and Cecilia Akintomide- Independent Non-Executive Director at First Bank.
According to the convener, Dr. (Mrs.) Siju Iluyomade who is of the believe that women enjoy each other’s company and draw strength from each other which was what informed her decision to start the Handmaidens, years ago as a vehicle to empower women to fulfill their destinies in Christ.

Egyptian-British model Merhan Keller influenced Egypt’s national team player out of AFCON over abuse on women

Egyptian footballer Amr Warda is kicked out of Africa Cup of Nations for It has been reported the Egyptian Football Association (EFA) and hosts of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations have dismissed one of their players after he was accused of sexual harassment by several women.

The EFA announced on Wednesday that Amr Warda, a midfielder in Egypt’s national team who plays for Greek club Paok had been dismissed from the national team for disciplinary reasons.

In a statement, the EFA said Warda had been dismissed from the national team’s camp in Egypt, which is currently participating in the African Cup of Nations. The EFA said that 25-year-old Warda’s dismissal comes following talks with the midfielder regarding his behaviour.

The announcement comes days after Warda found himself accused of cyber sexual harassment by a number of women including Egyptian-British model Merhan Keller who alleged that Warda, 25, had sent her inappropriate and aggressive messages.

Keller also followed up her claims by sharing testimonies from a number of other women who’d contacted her saying they too received unwanted messages from the footballer.

Wife Stabs Husband Seven months after marriage over phone conversation with a girl

A 21-year old wife has allegedly attempted to kill her husband by stabbing him in the abdomen over a misunderstanding.

The Bayero University Kano Law student, Fatima Musa, on Friday night at about 1.30am at their residence at Ungwar Mai Kalwa, Naibawa quarters in Kumbotso local government area of Kano was said to have stabbed her husband in the abdomen over communication she suspected her husband was having with some females on phone.

According to an eyewitness in the house, it was the cry for help from the husband that awakened him and some neighbours.
He said they rushed to see the husband, Saheed Husaini holding on to his stomach while bleeding profusely.

Saheed Husaini, a staff of Federal University Gusau, was later rushed to Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital by neighbors where he is receiving treatment.

He is said to be unconscious.

A source confided with the Nation the seven- month marriage has been embroiled in problem as Fatima Musa has said on many occasions claimed she does not love the husband but for the insistence of her mother.

‘’Fatima has allegedly attempted poisoning him thrice believing if she achieve that aim of getting rid of the husband, she can be free.”

‘’It’s a known secret to most of us that know them well that Fatima abuses drug, as she does not hide it,’’ a source stated.

It was learnt her husband beat her seriously on that day of the incident from which she sustained serious injuries.

The Nation was also informed the pregnant Fatima Musa was on admission from injuries she sustained.

However, efforts to speak with the bride’s father at AKTH was not successful as he declined comment.

Reacting to the situation Kano Police Command, spokesman DSP, Abdullahi Haruna confirmed that the bride has been arrested and transferred to the Criminal Investigation Department,(CID).
