Fuji Music King,K1 unveils Fuji , the sound EP, Awade

Considered a legend of Fuji music, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, also known by the moniker, K1 De Ultimate, has unveiled a new project, which is titled, Fuji the Sound EP.

K1 has seen it all in his 50-year plus career, enjoying critical and commercial success home and abroad in a career span that has taken him from young upstart in 1970 to an African cultural authority.

The EP, which comprises six songs, is a product of two years of tweaking and experimentation across languages and forms. It is catalysed by rhythmic drum-heavy pattern of puritan Fuji music.

The urban spirit is reflected in the team of collaborators that the music icon assembles including producer, Mystro, and singers, Teni and Toby Grey. Awade is the project’s first single. Fuji the Sound EP will arrive on August 21.

King of Fuji Music, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal who is popularly called K1 De Ultimate has added a year today.  The Mayegun of Yorubaland celebrates his 63rd birthday. Friends and family will gather at his Ijebu Ode home to rejoice with the front liner in the fuji music industry.

Fuji Music legend, Kollington Ayinla mourns over wife’s death

Fuji music legend, Kollington Ayinla loses wife News have it that one of the wives of Fuji music veteran, General Kollington Ayinla, is dead.

Lady Olabode Sulu-Ilori, 58, reportedly died at her family house in Agege, Lagos, on Tuesday, 20th of August 2019.

The marriage between the deceased, said to be a Christian businesswoman, and General Killington Ayinla produced a daughter.

According to family sources, funeral arrangements for the deceased who is survived by aged parents, come up at the RCCG Amazing Grace zonal headquarters, Oke-Koto, Agege, while reception holds at Consort Hall, Ipaja Road, Agege, Lagos.

Sunday 27th May 2018 has come and gone in the history of Fuji Music Star, Alhaji Sulaimon Alao Malaika . This year’s 12th Ramadan Alayeluwa Fans Club prayer and lecture was held at Marina Park , Lagos Island, Lagos.

Lots of celebrities were there. Ace Islamic Singer, Kafayat Singer was at the event. Sofiat Iyankaola dazzled on stage, Munirat Temini Success also graced the occasion a long side other Islamic singers.

Lecture was delivered by top islamic cleric, Fadilat Sheikh Alhaji Abdulrazaq Alohunmota.

Fuji music star, Alhaji Sulaimon Alao Malaika clocked 45th February 15th 2018.

Mini marathon was held on Sunday May 13th 2018 to celebrate his birthday in the heart of Lagos state, Lagos Island where he grew up.

There were lots of excitement in the face of the fans and people who came to witness the hilarious event.

As promised, Malaika gave Two Hundred Thousand Naira cheque to the winner, Ismail Sadjo.

1st Runner Up, Hamadjam Saoudi went home with One Hundred and Fifty Thousand Naira.

2nd Runner Up , Odelana James was presented One Hundred Thousand Naira cheque.

Female 1st Runner Up , Olamide Oluwaseun went home with One Hundred Thousand.

While 2nd Runner Up , Olude Fadekemi received Seventy Five Thousand Naira.

Though, his management firstly took the birthday party to South Africa. Lots of his fans traveled out of our shores to mark the birthday in a befitting way.

There were shows in United Kingdom: Manchester , London, Dublin , Dubai earlier in the year.

More so, Thursday April 6th 2018, novelty match was played at Ibadan, Oyo State in honour of Fuji Star, Malaika. It was fun at the ancient city.

The mini marathon kicked off at Elegbata Playing Ground and ends at Campos Mini Stadium. This event which was brainstormed by Malaika’s management and supported by grassroots friends at Lagos Island is titled Run 4 Charity.

 

However, in marking the birthday out of our shores, shows have been slated in United States of America after Ramadan festive period.
