The magazine published a false story about the mega star implicating him in an adultery mess. 2Face Idibia’s celebrated career has been fraught with various forms of controversy and false accusations, leading many in some quarters to imply that his song #APROKO was directed at some of these baseless stories and Icon Weekly Magazine in particular.

Multiple award-winning musician and UN ambassador Waje in partnership with luxury store Polo Avenue gave away $2,000 shopping vouchers to two lucky fans for her #OnyePoloAvenue Instagram competition. After 2 weeks of fun, 2 winners emerged. The Abuja based Ifeola Olatunji-David and Amsterdam based Linda Ezekwesili who sent in a representative.

The winners received the shopping vouchers from Waje and Polo Boss ‘Mr John Obayuwana’ and indulged in a shopping spree that involved purchases of Jimmy Choo shoes, Gucci shoes and a few more designer items. Waje’s fan giveaways for her hit ‘Onye ft Tiwa Savage’ are still on across Nigeria.

(News) Governor Oduaghan Commissions Rave TV

Delta state Governor, Emmanuel Oduaghan, on Friday, 10th August 2014 officially commissioned Agatha Amata’s Rave TV in lagos.
The event which took place at the premises of RaveTV station was also graced by the former governor of lagos state, Alhaji Lateef Jakande who was accompanied by his wife, Mrs Ladun Ogunbanwo, representing wife of lagos state governor, Dame Emmauella Abimbola Fashola as the mother of
the day, general overseer of Fountain of Life, pastor Taiwo Odukoya and his wife, Chairman lagos state Internal Revenue board, Mr Tunde Fowler, veteran broacaster, Bisi Olatilo, ace Nollywood and producer,
pastor Patrick Doyles and his wife who anchored the event with Okey Bakassi. Other dignitaries who stormed the Ultra-Modern studio of RaveTV to witness first hand the birth of the new TV station were
Yinka Davies, who sang the National Anthem, host of the Night of A Thousand Laugh, Opa Williams and so many others.
In her speech, Amata who nearly broke down in tears of joy narrated the story of the journey to the birth of the TV station, starting with the story of the debut of Inside-Out at Unilag and how God has used her and Inside-Out to bring succor to so many Nigerians who were in need. Also worthy of note was the story of how she conceived the dream of the TV station. According to her, when she conceived the dream, she wrote and pasted Trend TV on her door and glances at it every morning, unfortunately some other people also had the same dream and ideas, and before she knew it the name, Trend TV was gone and she had to look for another name with similar meaning. She later took journalists and other important dignitaries on a facility tour of the Ultra-Modern RaveTV studio and facilities. All in all, Agatha has led the way and set a good example for youths to follow.
